Adebimpe Akinsola, former Commissioner for Tourism, Arts & Culture and her group – APC Advocacy Movement of The Mandate Movement (TMM), Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, at different places.

Wasiu Agoro former Chairman, Imota LCDA and Builder Sesan Daini, former Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Alhaji Quddus Oduntan, Secretary to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Councilors, Supervisors, Special Advisers to the Chairman among others.
AMA and members of his team had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Adeboruwa, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, to receive royal blessings and support.
Speaking at the Apalura country home of Sen. Ogunlewe, Hon. Aro Moshood, who was appreciative of political leaders and stakeholders that came to honour him, recalled how he started his political tutelage with Sen. Ogunlewe.

He said that he came to give the stewardship of his account in the last three years, thank party stakeholders and seek another term.
“Today, I am not here to campaign but to let you know that the errand you sent me, I have delivered the first one and I want you to support me for the second term. I am only speaking to the APC members because if you’re not our member, this primaries election is none of your business, but if you are our member and you have your membership card, you are among the people I came to meet.”
He sought for their blessings and support of the party leaders and members towards getting another mandate for his second term bid.
Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA chairman, Omo’ba Aroyewun described AMA as an ever-supportive and responsible lawmaker.

“We were coming from a retreat with other chairmen and I told them that if I missed this gathering, it would really be painful because at the House of Assembly, our honourable always acts in our interest in Ikorodu Constituency II.
“If I have any issues with any agency in Lagos State, once I call on AMA, he will call them and the letter will be signed.
“When we wanted to collect the land of this school (proposed Zumratul Primary School, Igbogbo), he ordered me to start work and assured me that nothing would happen and when I told the Senator, he said we should start digging and whoever asked, that I should mention his name.”
Aroyewun emphasised that AMA is a quality lawmaker who deserved a second term.

“I will keep repeating it that we have a good honourable member that doesn’t need advertisement because the elders are supporting him already. I, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, the son of Senator Ogunlewe, I am saying it boldly that AMA will be our representative for the second term and so shall it be. We will not find ourselves wanting on the day of your inauguration,” he declared.
The GAC chieftain in his brief remarks only asked party stakeholders at the parley if the lawmaker had performed and deserved another term to which there was thunderous response in affirmation from the crowd at the Apalura home of the former Minister of Works.
At the parley with the APC Advocacy Movement of The Mandate Movement (TMM), Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, under the leadership of Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, it was another round of commendations and acceptance for the young state lawmaker.

Former Commissioner and former State lawmaker, Hon. Akinsola, spoke glowingly of AMA and assured members of her group that the second term would afford him the opportunity to do more.
“AMA is our child and all you need to do right now is to relax. He’s someone who understands what he’s doing over there coupled with the fact that he’s a first timer. We all know the ranking officer will always get the good benefits and now is the time for him to bring in more benefits because he’s going to be a ranking member,” she said
While assuring AMA that he will emerge victorious at the primary elections, the APC chieftain also appealed to the members of her forum to support him as their preferred candidate.

“I want us to work for him very well and also help in praying for all our representatives and not curse them. In case you don’t know, we have done our primaries and we already know our candidates here.”
Hon Adebimpe Akinsola furthered, “We are assuring you AMA that you have gotten there and you won’t be disgraced because your motto is “if you see AMA you’ll smile”, and you are always smiling and you won’t stop smiling. After the election, we will celebrate together because it’s your time to shine and you will shine.”
AMA was not only adopted by the generality of leaders and members of the APC Advocacy Movement of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, but an award of excellence was also presented to the lawmaker for his legislative performance.
The declaration train moves to Ijede LCDA on Thursday.
